Jeff is married to Susan, and they just celebrated their twenty-second anniversary. They have three adolescent children, Daniel, Hannah and Andrew. Jeff is an active member at Whitby Baptist Church, coaches in the NASC soccer association and assists local social service initiatives. Jeff Packer obtained his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto (1991), specializing in clinical individual, couple/marital and group counselling, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Sociology from York University (1989). Over the past eighteen years Jeff has provided professional counselling services with Whitby Mental Health Centre, Durham Family Court Clinic, Catholic Family Services, John Howard Society and the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre. In addition, he has attended extensive training programs on marriage and family therapy, diabetes, trauma and recovery, eating disorders, abuse & domestic violence, criminal behaviour and rehabilitation, parenting and parent-child behavioural adjustment, sexuality, substance misuse/addictions, separation and divorce adjustment as well as men’s workshops. Jeff has delivered training workshops across Canada. He currently provides clinical supervision services to other therapists and teaches counselling skills in the justice department at Durham College. He is a registered social worker with OCSWSSW and has been a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers for seventeen years.

Peter and his wife of 17 years, Mary, have four children between 6 and 16 years of age. Peter also has co-parented his first three children who are 21 to 27 years of age. He is also grandfather of two. Peter is an active member of the Knights of Columbus, his church, and is involved in several community service activities and initiatives. He attained his Bachelor degree in Social Work from Ryerson University, and his Master degree in Social Work from York University. Over the last seventeen years, Peter has worked in various agencies in the GTA, facilitating groups and providing counselling to individuals, families, couples, and teens. He has been involved professionally with various agencies including: the Durham Family Court Clinic, The John Howard Society, Catholic Community Services, Lakeridge Health Corporation, Association for Community Living, Eva’s Place Youth Shelter, and the Fathering Involvement Initiative. Peter has also received additional training through workshops and seminars in the areas of addiction, brief solution-focused therapy, domestic violence, cooperative parenting and divorce, fathering, parent/child behaviour, relationships and couple counselling. Peter is registered with OCSWSSW as a Social Worker and has been a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers for twelve years.

Our services qualify for reimbursement from numerous health insurance and employee assistance plans and we are registered Green Shield counsellors.
